Vision:
Mariatu's Hope Inc. is a US registered 501c3. Mariatu’s Hope is a Sierra Leone National NGO (non government organization) that embodies Kingdom principles and virtues while expressing God’s love to the people of Sierra Leone. Mariatu’s Hope is inspired by the example set by Jesus Christ in Matthew 25:35. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is interwoven into all we do.
Mission Statement:
We work with vulnerable communities and individuals to inspire hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11) through Infant Nutrition, Safe Water Access, Proper Sanitation and Health and Hygiene promotion. Jesus said what you’ve done to the least of these you’ve done to me.
The Story of Mariatu:
Mariatu's mother died when she was 18 days old from a waterborne illness. Her family tried their best to keep Mariatu fed with baby formula but this became too much because they too were hungry themselves, and the family of five would go sometimes days without food. They found us and asked if we could help. She became a part of our family and we couldn't imagine life without her. Through her life and her story we hope many more Children will have hope and a future.
